Thank goodness for a vigilant press, eh? Otherwise the prime minister'd just stand there refusing to answer questions or, like poor mad Mr Clegg, repeatedly answering questions he'd put to himself. Did I cure foot and mouth? Of course I did. Did I wrestle a flaming terrorist to the ground ? What else would you expect of your prime minister, of course I did, beat the bastard to death with my moral compass. That I got from Dad, now up in Heaven.

Great, though, how the press kept on hammering him about Dougie Zombie Alexander and the planning application.


ps Lord Guido, do you charge BBC cub-reporter Jimmy Landale for material he lifts from this blog, or is it just that we should all encourage young, impoverished journalists so that they grow up to be distinguised commentators, like the self-fellating Mr Nick Robinson, NewLabour's head of PR.
