Simon Heffer in today's Telegraph refers to the snot-gobbler thus:

Waste of time, mate, the Trannygraph; may as well complain at BBC. Or pop your cardy on and go next door with Mrs Dale and the old folks. Have a nice cup of tea, try and not wet yourself.

Stanislav said a while back it needs british people to take up the cry Come Out Gordon, Come Out Gordon. No point in expecting the press to act for the people; why elsee do you suppose we ar in this shit ? Simone Heffer has no balls and is, she feels, more powerful for keeping secrets. For newly arrived belle lettristes like Mr Quixote and his staggeringly dull censorious chums, Stanislav also mention that to press for openness and an end to lavendar sham is not gaybashing. We cannot continue to be governed by knowing little cabalists, like Ms Simone Heffer and Mr Toilets Maguire, peddling us such tripe as they consider us mature enough to comprehend.

As for Mr Brights Booze at 5.11pm, well, his must be the kind of contribution to the political debate which has so many returning to order-order.

Maybe if we write it on our envelopes, or in the rear screens of our cars Come out, Gordon; Come out, Gordon...

Dear Mr Tony

One dead, one damaged, one healthy; who else would be Pops ?

I know is very bad taste to make fun of disability, infant mortality and so on but is also horrible, dark aide memoire to arrogance, bluster, bullshit and stupidity of shrieking Scotch cunt, Brown.

One out of three children born well is perhaps better record than his overall impact on the UK, in which most/many things are dying, disfigured, disabled, better off aborted. I know. Is fucking gross thought. Compare nation fucked up arse with poor damaged infant. But both stem from Brown's insane cocksure delusion that - because his wicked father told him he was not like other clever boys - the ordinary rules and actuarially predictable outcomes need not apply to him. Breed at fifty-plus? Go on, my son, the Lord is with thee, you are not as other men.

When most are grandfathers, he decides it would be politically advantageous to be a father - one dead, one disabled, one healthy. This is a tragedy a more modest, a more honest man would have avoided. It is despicable. It is also a most offensive deception, indicative of the contempt in which he holds us.

When even a plumber would say Hang on, this house price shit, this is bollocks, Brown madly proclaims that an unsustainable level of personal debts, a deceitful, spun, innaccurate inflation index, the abandonment of even a pretence of being a manufacturing nation, the theft of pensions, the crash sale of gold and the mortgaging of the future to criminal PFI deals actually represent a miracle of economic stewardship.

By any measure that he is judged -personal, political, fiscal even down to his inflated expectations of his jaundiced old sperm - Brown is a catastrophe. It is an epic tragedy. If it was contained within his own poisonous cast of faux amis and jumped-up relatives and Fleet Street cocksuckers it would be grim enough to witness; buggered, beggared and bewildered we shall all, though, be cast down.

Stanislav think is important, therefore, Mr Tony, not to dismiss Brown progeny as trivial, incidental, maybe come from donor or other Sarah lover. This poor, damaged, pretend family, this, like all the other shit, is all Brown's own work. In every sense of the word, out with him.

Love from stan

ps Please rub some nice olive oil on Mrs Tony and remember me to her.

Dear Mr Dalai lama bop bop shoowaddy waddy.

Thanks for that. I read something not as comprehensive but as persuasive in, I think, 1999, when they were saying, similarly, that indices were actually worse than those triggering the 1929 crash -personal debts, no savings and yet employment only being sustained by ever more credit to purchase the fruits of new technology and services; not borrow to invest, borrow to spend on immediately obsolete products. It seemed on that analysis that crash was imminent 8 years ago. And yet it didn't happen.

Every day I wonder how on earth a large section of the population manages to pay for anything and yet it does. This is an economy like the bumblebee, it shouldn't fly but it does.

Can your last paragraph's prophecy actually be allowed to happen ? This is not the thirties, people are less easily ground in the dirt and it would take a large army of bailiffs and soup queues ten miles long to unhouse and yet sustain all these debtors. In any event, can capitalism really hope to survive the repossessions of millions of homes, the job- and homelessness of several millions of former believers? The State has no support structure for such a crisis. Neither health nor housing nor law enforcement could cope with this scenario. What would fund the public sector, hospitals, schools and so on. If the economy collapses as you predict then although more protracted the impact will be graver than that of a tsunami rolling all over the country, massive unmanageable civil emergency, starvation, rioting and so on. This isn't the much derided boom and bust. This is Armageddon.

Wouldn't it be better for those who allowed this to happen to somehow restructure ? Even by writing-off much debt. Is there not an equally valid argument for getting all the credit one can because everything is going tits up and there simply won't be enough debt collectors or court space to enforce payment ?
I dunno. It's just a thought.

Imagine, say, based on your three million house mortgagers, nine million household members defaulting also on store and credit cards and car and bank loans. Who is going to get that money from people who have no fixed abode as a result of the repo men ?

It seems to me that either the forces of darkness regroup and hope to bleed people some more when things improve or, like everybody else, they, to a lesser degree, of course, go down in the flood.

A good war will help tighten the national belt but, again, this is not 1930 and few would volunteer for another adventure and those we have in uniform are already well bogged down, not to mention pissed off. And besides we have a country policeable only by the consent of the population, How's that to happen with millions on the streets ?

I simply don't understand it and I don't question your conclusions for a moment but can you add anything on the inevitable decay, unrest and instability which will accompany the evaporation of the virtual economy? Has anybody got any plans?

A link will do if you are pressed for time.Thanks.
